AGM & Presentation of Prizes – 19 March 2026

The Annual General Meeting and Presentation of Prizes was held on 19 March 2026 at Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club. Members gathered in the clubhouse to review the past season, elect office bearers, and look ahead to the coming year. An excellent meal was enjoyed by all. Following the formal AGM business, trophies and awards were presented to winner.

Crawford Cup: Ronnie Wilson, Ken Ireland, Linda Wilson, Douglas Haddow

McCreath Medal: Ronnie Wilson, Hugh Kennedy, Linda Wilson, Jane Cherry

Blairston Medal: Points competition: Ken Ireland 32 points

Provost Salver: Presented to Charlie Steele for outstanding service to the club

In the Eglinton Jug there was a first round loss to Galston so the club moved into the Low Road. Excellent wins were achieved against Dundonald and Darvel so the club progressed to a semi-final against Curl Ayrshire. A tight game ensued with Curl Ayrshire running out 8-4 winners.

In the Province Knockout a fantastic win was achieved against Dalmellington before a creditable 9-4 loss to a strong Fairywell rink. In the Province Medal where we entered a rink alongside Land of Burns results did not go our way losing both games to Curl Ayrshire and Galston Haymouth.

Retiring president Allan Chapman presented Douglas Haddow with the President's badge and congratulated him on the appointment. Douglas, in his own inimitable style, reeled off a few jokes before saying it was a privilege and honour to become Club President and that he would do his best to steer the club forward during the next season.
