Sandy Gow RIP

Sandy Gow passed away peacefully in his sleep on 25 January 2022, aged 95 years, in Creggan Bahn Care Home.

Sandy joined Ayr & Alloway in May 1973 - almost 50 years ago - and contributed greatly to the Club.

He was President in 1981-82 and a Club skip from 1975-1997. Sandy skipped the winning rink in the Cue competition in 2014 and played in a rink up to the 2016-17 season.

The Club honoured Sandy's long service by presenting him with the Provosts Salver in 2015 and he became an Honorary Member in 2020.

Sandy also played for the Gangrels.
